I enjoyed the location within walking distance or a short bus ride to Lambton Quay shopping. I particularly enjoyed being across the road from the Sunday farmers' market, Te Papa Museum and the supermarket for the odd item. I enjoyed the ease of entering and leaving the premises at will, the eclectic atmosphere and art collection. I love the gold hippopotamus, although strangely I found a gold rhinocerous on the bedside shelf in my room. The staff although very busy at the time, were both pleasant and professional. Overall, an enjoyable stay. I would stay here again.

Super cosy room with beautiful views of the harbour. Very comfy bed. LOVE having a bath which I specially requested. I enjoy the low sensory vibe of the place - the low lighting in the hallways and no strongly scented cleaning products. Very relaxing for me. Enjoyed a lovely cheeseboard and wine in the lounge dining area - felt welcoming and was very chilled out for a person eating on their own. Singer/musician there for 'cocktail hour' was a nice touch.

This is a gorgeous hotel right across from the Te Papa Museum in downtown Wellington! The artwork in the lobby and public areas was spectacular and really fun to explore. Our room was beautiful with an exceptional bathroom and amazing shower! We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub and found them quite relaxing on a rainy day in Wellington.

Rebecca

The proximity to the conference venue at Te Papa and just a stroll to Oriental Bay. Have always loved the decor of this hotel. Reception area has been refurbished since my last visit and looks great. I was fortunate to be able to check in early which was much appreciated-thank you so much.

Trudy

Great location, lovely staff and very child friendly. Absolutely loved the bathroom and the deep dish bath which was my favourite part of the stay altogether..
